Understand team dynamics and respect for others learning survival skills
Designed for a maximum of 25 people, Survival places individuals in a new outdoor environment. In Survival participate in a range of activities that equip them with skills to survive in this environment. Activities include foraging, plant identification, CPR, First Aid, abseiling, high ropes, improvised stretcher, lighting fires, making shelters, setting traps, rudimentary fishing skills, thermal control and more.
When they arrive at their location, it’s straight into survival skills and as competence steadily increases and team identity and organisation become established, morale within the ranks begins to soar! There are also intricately crafted scenarios included to bringing a sense of theatre and entertainment to the experience adding that essential team bonding ingredient – FUN!
In Survival!, participants are taken out of their regular environment and challenged to learn new skills. Having left the comforts of home far behind, teams must quickly develop a sense of mutual trust and inter dependency. In order to function harmoniously, team members must develop an appreciation for the work styles and respect for others in the group. Specific challenges will demand a mutual trust in order to succeed.
The environment is controlled and the activities, although challenging, ensure that everyone is involved and finishes the activity with a sense of personal achievement. Prior to the event we will work with you to select the best location and range of activities that best suit the participants and the desired outcomes.
